ABOUT DR BLUMENFELD
I first qualified as an optometrist at R.A.U (Rand Afrikaans University) in 1989 and then went on to study medicine at Wits. After qualifying as a medical practitioner I went on to specialize in Ophthalmology and qualified as an eye specialist in 2002.
I spent the next six years working in eye hospitals in and around London. For the last three years I worked in a private refractive surgery practice in London where we specialized in Laser vision correction and Cataract surgery.
I returned to South Africa in December 2011 and joined Dr. Francis Bolle in January 2012.
